The Challenge

A two-week sprint to re-design the on-boarding flow of the app in order to stop users dropping off. After doing some initial testing and conducting interviews we realized that the app had further issues and so re-designed it entirely in order to make the concept work in a more organic fashion. 

 

The Process

We used the Double Diamond framework within which we tested the application as we received it, conducted user interviews, created user journeys & empathy maps, affinity mapped for design problems, created personas & job stories, conducted design studios and then used Sketch and Invision to redesign the app and tested the prototype over 7 different testing cycles to iterate to the best possible version of itself. 

 

The Solution

Our solution was to allow the application to learn more about the user through a series of questions as well as using imports from Facebook and Linkedin API's to match the users with networkers who were more appropriate. We redesigned the UI & user flows to carry the concept in a more natural manner.
